Starting April 2, The Connection will be airing nationally on Free Speech TV (DISH channel 9415). Saturdays at 8 PM and various other times throughout the week.
On Jan. 17, 2007, The Connection received a Martin Luther King, Jr. Picture Award from the City of Charleston, presented by City Councilman Wendell Gilliard. This is given to Charlestonians ‘who strive to improve the quality of life for residents of our community . . . [who] are recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating to all that they are keeping the dream of Dr. King alive.”
